Sweden's AaF Takes Over Operations At Ericsson Design Center

STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Swedish technical consultant Aangpannefoereningen AB Friday said it will take over the operations at the Ericsson Design Center in Lysekil on the Swedish west coast from Telefon AB LM Ericsson.

The 21 employees there work primarily with radio-related systems development and software development for WCDMA and GSM technologies.

Financial details weren't provided.

The company said the aim is to consolidate its position within technical consulting services in the fields of radio and radio-related systems.

The acquisition will also provide AaF with key competencies to undertake a greater number of assignments across a broader spectrum of this specialist area.
