Phone Usage Jumps 24% In The USA
According to the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA), mobile subscriber numbers jumped to 86 million, up 24.3% over the past year. Wireless subscribers used their telephones an average of 180 minutes each month last year, compared with 130 minutes for local calls a year ago. At the same time, the average monthly bill increased just 4.6% to $41.24 from $39.43."
