Leather Clad 3G Phone

Vodafone Japan has announced that later this week, it will commence nationwide sales of the Vodafone 703N 3G handset by NEC, which features a 'leather touch design' that gives the surface of the handset a soft, high-quality leather feel.

The 703N also features a host of convenient and fun functions. Picture Voice lets customers add voice messages to photos, Chance Capture makes it possible to conveniently capture the right moment on video, and Multitask allows users to easily switch back and forth between multiple applications, such as mail and V-appli, that are running simultaneously.

The Multitask function lets customers activate a multiple number of applications, such as mail and V-appli, at the same time and switch back and forth between them effortlessly. Customers can also check their schedules while they speak as the handset supports hands-free functionality. In addition, the Compact Desktop function allows users to paste up to 15 shortcut icons for often-used functions to the standby screen so they can operate their handsets like PCs."
