Openwave Systems says that it's software solutions have now delivered over a trillion mobile data transactions to consumers. The mobile data market is experiencing dramatic growth with the increasing consumer uptake of services such as email, web browsing, downloads, and MMS. Today, Openwave software manages over three billion transactions daily for mobile operators worldwide including Sprint, Nextel, Vodafone and Telefonica.
This growth in mobile data is changing the nature of the mobile internet. The next trillion transactions will showcase significant advancements to the mobile experience, with consumers demanding accelerated delivery of all mobile content types, easy navigation of off-portal content and secure access to browsing, download and messaging services.
