Improving Indoor Coverage in the Netherlands
ip.access has signed a partnership with Imtech Telecom to accelerate the rollout of its nanoGSMT system for enhanced GSM coverage and capacity in the Netherlands. Building on the successful introduction of nanoGSM into Dutch operator Telfort's mobile network, ip.access and Imtech are focused on increasing the nanoGSMT footprint with other operators in the Netherlands.
nanoGSMT provides improved GSM in-building coverage and extended capacity to corporate offices and campus locations. The solution uses nanoBTST base stations and DSLs to backhaul the traffic over IP, providing a simple and cost-efficient service to SMEs (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises).
Niels Everstijn, Director Solutions and Products, Imtech Telecom, commented, "This partnership enables us to provide a solution for dedicated GSM coverage and capacity to our customers. This is a valuable addition to our portfolio of services and technical solutions that operators can offer to businesses."
Mark Pittick, Vice President Sales and Marketing, ip.access, added, "We are pleased to be working alongside Imtech, whose support and expertise will play an important role as we continue to gain traction in the Dutch market. We value their considerable knowledge and resources in bringing nanoGSMT to an even wider business audience."
