Brazilian Operator Orders Push E-Mail Platform

Intellisync Corp. has been selected to provide push e-mail services to Brazil's VIVO. Vivo Smartmail, 'Powered by Intellisync', allows users to wirelessly access personal and enterprise e-mails based on Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange, POP3 or IMAP servers. The Intellisync technology allows continuous bidirectional synchronization, ensuring that any change in a user's handheld device (including contacts, email, calendar items and tasks) is automatically synchronized with the data on the user's personal computer.

"We believe that it [Smartmail] is a superior solution to some of the other competing solutions; it is more complete and is not tied to a specific terminal (device)," said Roger Sol
