Watch Criminal Trials on a Mobile Phone

Court TV has inked a deal with mobile video provider SmartVideo, which provides live, full motion TV to cellular phones. The deal will provide four kinds of content on four different channels on this subscriber-based service. Viewers will have access to Court TV News' content live from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Video-On-Demand of Court TV's Seriously Entertaining primetime programming, access to online content including web clips and trial coverage, and the live network feed directly from the satellite.

"With the growth of the mobile video services over the past few years, this is a perfect outlet for Court TV to extend our brand and attract audiences that we might not have been able to reach in the past," said Claire Cowart, Senior Vice President, Business Development & Strategy. "This service provides unlimited access to Court TV's original programming and content, and will give our audiences another platform to utilize. We feel that this is the first step in exploring different outlets for Court TV as we move forward with the new vision of the network."

"We're very excited to add Court TV to our network of video content," said Richard E. Bennett, Jr., President & CEO of SmartVideo. "This is a great platform for Court TV to profile their programming, and with the surge of popularity that the mobile video services market has seen, it should prove to be a successful venture for the network and SmartVideo."
