Ericsson In $62 Million GSM Expansion Deal With Guangxi Mobile

STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Swedish telecommunications equipment maker Telefon AB LM Ericsson (ERICY) Thursday said it has signed a frame agreement worth around $62 million with Chinese operator Guangxi Mobile Communications Company Ltd. for the Phase 10 GSM Expansion in 2005.

Nanjing Ericsson Panda Communications Company Ltd, Ericsson's largest joint venture in China, will supply the equipment under the agreement.

The expansion is scheduled to be completed by September in 2005.
