SonyEricsson Handset Wins Photographic Award

The photographic industry has its own "Oscars," which serve as outstanding marketing tools for their proud winners. These coveted honors are the European Photo & Imaging Awards of the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), and this year they will once again be presented in Cologne.

The Sony Ericsson K750i won the new mobile imaging device category.

At photokina 1990 in Cologne it was decided to found TIPA. At last year's photokina - World of Imaging, TIPA and Koelnmesse signed an agreement stipulating that in the future Koelnmesse will jointly sponsor the awards and regularly host the awards ceremony. The aim is to support TIPA activities that promote innovative imaging products.
