Improved GSM Testing in France

In order to meet the increasing demand of the French mobile communications industry for comprehensive consulting and testing services on location, CETECOM says that it has installed a new Rohde & Schwarz TS8950G conformance test system at its GSM test centre in Buc near Paris.

The range of services which CETECOM is offering in Buc contains the whole range of tests required by GCF and PTCRB in the areas of radio and protocol tests, audio and the testing of radiated spurious emissions. GSM 850/900/1800/1900 are covered as well as SIM Application Toolkit, WAP, EDGE, GPRS/E-GPRS and AMR.

In addition to the conformance tests for mobile communications, CETECOM France is also offering qualification tests for mobile communications and smart card terminals."
