O2 PLC CEO Erskine Remuneration Rises To GBP1.27 Million In FY05

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Peter Erskine, chief executive at U.K. mobile telecommunications company O2 PLC (OOM.LN), saw his annual remuneration rise to GBP1.27 million in fiscal 2005 from GBP1.21 million in the previous year, the company said Friday.

The rise reflects an increase in Erskine's salary over the year ended March 31 to GBP666,833 a figure that has increases to GBP725,000 for fiscal 2006.

Overall, O2 paid its board a total of GBP2.6 million during fiscal 2005, excluding pensions. The biggest gainer was David Arculus who was appointed chairman during the year.
