Improving Indoor Coverage in Holland
ip.access has announced the successful deployment of its nanoGSMT solution for Dutch mobile network operator Telfort. Through the supply agreement with Telfort, ip.access' nanoGSMT solution is set to provide dedicated GSM in-building coverage and extended capacity to corporate offices and campus locations across the Netherlands. The solution uses nanoBTST base stations and DSLs to backhaul the traffic over IP, providing a simple and cost-efficient service to SMEs.
"We are very excited to provide our customers with the enhanced coverage and capacity they need in a business environment. The ip.access solution allows us to target and acquire customers quickly because it can be deployed far more rapidly than competing solutions, and at a lower cost to end users," said Theo van der Wiel, Director of Network Systems, Telfort.
Mark Pittick, Vice President Sales and Marketing, ip.access, added, "Economically, our solution for improved coverage and capacity is the most viable for operators and their customers. This contract gives Telfort a competitive advantage in the Dutch business market and marks another important step in the roll-out of nanoGSMT worldwide."
