TDC Launches New Low-cost Mobile Service In Switzerland
ZURICH -(Dow Jones)- Danish telephone operator TDC A/S (TLD) Tuesday said it would launch a new, low-cost mobile service in Switzerland.
The company, which also has the Sunrise brand in Switzerland, said the new service -dubbed Yallo -will not require a subscription and will just offer basic services.
The move comes after incumbent Swisscom AG (SCM), the leading Swiss mobile operator, slashed its mobile telephony prices last week.
