Intrinsyc To Develop Messaging Software For Nokia Phones

VANCOUVER -(Dow Jones)- Intrinsyc Software International Inc. (ICS.T) has signed an agreement with a mobile software provider calling for Intrinsyc's Mobile Solutions Team to create and deliver messaging software plug-ins for Symbian-powered Nokia Series 60 and Series 80 phones.

In a press release, the company said the development work will allow users to access email on a range of phones, including the Nokia 6620, Nokia 9300 and Nokia 9500. It said the customer isn't identified due to contract restrictions.

The value of the agreement wasn't disclosed.

Intrinsyc provides mobility software and services.
