Samsung Gains Market Share At Sweden's The Phone House In Apr

STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd (005930.SE) gained market share at Sweden's largest independent mobile phone retailer, The Phone House, in April, the retailer said Friday.

Samsung had three of the top 10 selling models at The Phone House last month, up from just one model in March.

The Phone House is the Swedish unit of Carphone Warehouse Group Plc (CPW.LN).

Sony Ericsson, a joint venture of Sony Corp. (SNE) and Telefon AB LM Ericsson (ERICY), continued to lead sales at The Phone House with four of the top 10 best selling phones in April. Nokia Corp. (NOK) had two models on the list and Siemens AG (SI) one model.

Samsung's gains came at the expense of Nokia which had four models on the list in March.
