Banned from Charging Their Cellphones at Work
The low cost Irish airline, RyanAir has imposed a ban on staff charging their mobile phones while at work - claiming that the few seconds spent plugging a phone into a charger is too much of a distraction. A story in the tabloid newspaper, The Mirror cited staff who claimed that their colleagues were furious about the ban.
Headed "Power Mad", it quoted a worker saying: "The implication is they are accusing people of stealing electricity by charging a mobile phone."
