Mannesmann Confirms Court Case

Mannesmann, the German company that Vodafone Airtouch has launched a hostile takeover bid for, has confirmed that three shareholders have launched a court bid to prevent Mannesmann from spending its own cash in defeating the take over bid. German law requires that a company board remains neutral when the subject of a takeover bid."
