Germany's Mobilcom To Sell O2 Wireless Service Contracts

BUEDELSDORF, Germany -(Dow Jones)- German telecommunications company Mobilcom AG (MOB.XE) said Friday it intends to sell wireless service contracts for network operator O2 Germany GmbH & Co.

The company said it will likely begin offering contracts for O2, a unit of U.K. telecommunications company mmO2 PLC (OOM), in the next few months.

Mobilcom said it plans to increase its number of clients to 4.8 million in 2005 from 4.65 million in 2004.

Mobilcom will become the first network provider to offer contracts for all four German network operators, the company added.
