Ericsson Gets GSM Order In Serbia Worth $39 Million

STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Swedish telecommunications company L.M. Ericsson Telephone AB (ERICY) Tuesday said it has signed a network expansion deal worth $39 million with Serbian GSM operator Telekom Srbija for the delivery of hardware, software and services.

The network expansion will be completed within 12 months and will increase the capacity in the network.

Under the contract, Ericsson will provide hardware and software expansions of both the core and radio GSM network, as well as deployment, systems integration, competence development and support services.
