Nokia Says 7710 Widescreen Smartphone Now Shipping

STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Nokia Corp (NOK) Tuesday said its Nokia 7710 multimedia smartphone has started shipping in Europe and Africa.

Nokia said the 7710 has generated significant market interest with its innovative design and rich features.

The phone features pen input and handwriting recognition, and combines the capabilities of a smartphone and a handheld computer, Nokia said.
