MmO2 Signs Up BenQ To Make Own-Branded Handset
LONDON -(Dow Jones)- MmO2 PLC (OOM), the U.K. mobile telecommunications company, said Friday Taiwanese handset manufacturer BenQ Corp. (2352.TW) will make a new third-generation handset for the company.
BenQ will manufacture the X4 - an O2-branded handset - for the company.
BenQ already supplies handsets to French mobile operator Bouygues SA (12050.FR).
