Hutchinson Opposes Vodafone Airtouch Bid For Mannesmann

Hutchinson Whampoa has said that it does not support the Vodafone Airtouch bid for the German Mannesmann. Hutchinson holds 10% of Mannesmann after selling its stake in the UK network Orange to Mannesmann last month.
