Nokia Sees 1Q 05 Global Mobile Phone Market At 160 Million Handsets

STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Nokia Corp. (NOK) Chief Executive Jorma Ollila Thursday put the global mobile phone market for the first quarter of 2005 at 160 million handsets.

This a sequential decline from the 194 million phones Nokia estimated for the fourth quarter of 2004.

Ollila was speaking with analysts on a webcast.
