Telekom Austria Mobile Unit Buys Remaining 1% In VIPnet

VIENNA (Dow Jones)--Telekom Austria AG (TKA) said Monday that its mobile phone subsidiary Mobilkom Austria has bought the remaining 1% stake in Croatian mobile phone operator VIPnet from Croatian publisher Vecernji List.

Financial details weren't provided.

This transaction enables 100% consolidation of the Croatian subsidiary into the Mobilkom Austria group.

At the end of September, VIPnet had roughly 1.3 million customers.
