MmO2: CEO Of UK Unit To Step Down At Year End
LONDON -(Dow Jones)- mmO2 said Friday Dave McGlade, CEO of O2 U.K., will step down from the Board and leave the Company at the end of the current financial year in March 2005.
He will be relocating his family and returning to his native America to take up a new opportunity.
Dave McGlade will be succeeded as CEO of the U.K. business in April 2005 by the current CFO, Matthew Key, who will also be appointed to the Executive Committee of mmO2, while Vivek Dev will be chief operating officer.
Key joined O2 U.K. as chief financial officer in February 2002. Before joining O2, Key worked with Vodafone as U.K. operations finance director for 4 years.
Vivek Dev was appointed chief operating officer of O2 U.K. in August 2001.
