Cramer Wins SE Asian Contract
Cramer has announced that Thailand's Advanced Info Service (AIS), has selected Cramer's inventory-powered automation solution to streamline operations and accelerate response times in a rapidly expanding market. Systems integrator TeleOSS will deploy the solution.
AIS's growth to serve 14 million subscribers has fueled rapid buildout and increased complexity in the network, which spans switching equipment from multiple vendors including Nokia, Ericsson, Hua-Wai, Siemens and NEC. Managing diverse equipment types across a national network presented a significant challenge, slowing response times to market demand.
Initially AIS sought a "manager of managers" for its multi-vendor management network. Cramer's ability to transform the business through inventory-powered automation led AIS to embrace a more sophisticated OSS vision.
In the first phase of deployment, AIS is using Cramer to consolidate management of physical assets through an accurate, comprehensive and continuously updated view of the network's facilities. Cramer will also manage design and implementation for network upgrades and modification. Future use of Cramer will expand to include circuit design and implementation, modeling of the radio access network, and process automation to accelerate base station reparenting."
