A Most Excellent Mobile Phone Game, Dude"

Kuju Wireless has announced the development of a new game featuring Bill and Ted for JAVA enabled mobile phones. The game will feature Bill and Ted as they travel through time collecting historical figures for their class project. Players control both Bill and Ted - each with his own unique abilities - as they explore fifty levels based in five different time periods.

"Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" has become one of the most popular teenage comedy movies of the last 15 years. Starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as the "Happy Idiots" according to the NY Times, "Bill and Ted's" spawned two movies, two animation series, a live action TV series, a live action theme park attraction and dozens of items of merchandise. Currently new Bill and Ted's merchandise items include clothing, paper goods, collectible figures and comic books. In addition, the "Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure" theme park show at Universal Studios Florida is playing to sell-out crowds every autumn season.

Rand Marlis, president of Creative Licensing Corporation, owners of Bill and Ted licensing, said, "Kuju Wireless brings the right mix of gaming expertise and fun to the Bill and Ted mobile phone game. They are creating a 'most excellent' game that will as Bill said, ' reach out and touch someone'."

Released initially in 1990, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure has been called "a truly excellent adventure, hilariously inventive, greased lightning paced and dumb bunny brilliant" The Washington Post and "Radical" by TV Guide.

The game will be available in Q4 2004."
