Improvements to T-Mobile Network
D&E Communications has signed a five-year contract with T-Mobile USA to transport voice and data in the central Pennsylvania region. D&E, an integrated communications provider, will supply T-1 lines to approximately 240 cell tower sites throughout central Pennsylvania. "We are pleased to work with T-Mobile, a premier provider of advanced mobile communications services," said G. William Ruhl, Chief Executive Officer of D&E. "For 93 years, D&E has been meeting the communications needs of people in central Pennsylvania. With this project, we can play a role in providing reliable connections for T-Mobile, which offers its customers world-class digital voice, messaging and high-speed wireless data services."
Under the contract, D&E will provide T-1 lines to cell tower sites in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Berks, Perry, Mifflin, Juniata, Franklin and Fulton counties."
