Ericsson Managing Orange Network

Ericsson has been selected by Switzerland's Orange Communications to provide field services for half of their GSM Network. The Managed Services agreement mainly covers maintenance of site infrastructure and system technology.

Since the beginning of this year, Ericsson has been maintaining half of the GSM network of Swiss operator Orange Communications. Ericsson established a field service organization for Orange's multi-vendor network environment which covers the maintenance for systems delivered by several manufacturers including Ericsson's microwave products.
