T-Mobile Signs Universal Ringtone Deal

Universal Mobile, the mobile division of Universal Music International, has concluded an agreement with T-Mobile for mastertones, enabling T-Mobile customers across Europe to use clips of original recordings in ringtones, callback tones and other mobile products. T-Mobile's agreement to utilise robust Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems, preventing the unauthorised distribution of mastertones, was pivotal in securing the deal for Universal Mobile's content.
