German Network Expands MMS Billing Capability

Redknee has announced that Germany's E-Plus has chosen their MMS solution to enable value-based billing for mobile multi-media services such as games, pictures, and short video clips. With the Redknee Prepaid MMS solution, E-Plus has expanded their MMS portfolio to all prepaid subscribers, and also offer new group messaging services such as sending a digital picture to multiple subscribers, or playing multi-media games with multiple players. This solution leverages Redknee's Prepaid SMS Rating Solution already deployed in the E-Plus GSM network.

The Redknee Prepaid MMS Billing Solution enables a brand new set of mobile multi-media services such as group messaging. The solution has an open web services design, which allows it to integrate easily into existing IN prepaid systems, and existing OSS/BSS systems.
