Huawei Launches CDMA450 Handsets

China's Huawei Technologies has launched a range of CDMA450 handsets and fixed terminals, which include 5 models of high- middle- and low-end handsets, 4 models of terminals or phone-typed fixed terminals, and wireless modules and wireless payphone terminals.

Compared with CDMA2000 in the 800/1900MHz bands, CDMA450 only changes the radio frequency module. It is therefore mature in terms of technology. Yet in the initial stage of CDMA450's application, problems such as high price and lack of terminal variety restrained its development. In order to overcome the obstacles for CDMA450's development, Huawei has invested enormously to develop the CDMA450 handsets and fixed terminals.

Currently, Huawei can provide series of handsets and fixed terminals from low-end, middle-end to high-end, the most complete in the industry, which can satisfy the demand for both mobile network and Wireless Local Loop (WLL). Huawei offers not only the common voice terminals that the general public can afford, but also the high-end handsets that fulfill abundant service demands.
