RF Field Engineer:

Seeking a detailed RF field engineer with hands-on site survey experience.

Responsibilities Include:

· Site design, field survey, implement, and optimize

· Apply propagation theory, cellular theory, antenna theory, and RF engineering tools to choose tower antenna placement

· Design wireless systems using GSM technology

· Responsible for capacity planning, frequency planning and interference analysis

· Design sites to improve coverage and fix existing holes

Position Requirements:

· BS/MS in Electronics, Electrical or related Engineering (advanced degree preferred)

· 5+ years of relevant work experience as a RF Engineer with telecom operators

· Proven knowledge of engineering principles and wireless telecommunication systems for both voice and data

· Proven expertise in GSM is required along with a thorough understanding of the architecture and engineering

· Experience with propagation modeling, link budget analysis, and drive test

· Fluency in UMTS, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, TCP/IP, ATM, and VoIP technologies

· Proven track record with the ability to research, compile, and analyze data

· Knowledge of E1/T1/DS1, T3/DS3, OC-n, SONET, DWDM, VoIP, call routing, SS7 Signaling

· Experience of working with subcontractors

· Experience with Global Mapper, MapInfo, and TEMS Link Planner

· Experience with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Ability to solve problems creatively and quickly under pressure

· Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment

· Possess strong technical skills

· Possess strong written, oral and presentation skills

Languages Skills: Pukhtoo, English, Urdu
