Chief Technical Officer

The Chief Technical Officer’s position requires Highly Qualified Electrical Engineering and Technical Expert experience.

Requirements:

• 20 + years of relevant experience.
• Major network program management and contract management experience.
• Electrical Engineering Degree, preferably Master’s / Phd.
• At least 15 years experience in Telecommunications Network Operations.
• Experience with the development and operations of fiber optic cable networks, possibly including submarine.
• Experience deploying backbone network solutions using SDH, IP and MPLS Technologies.
• Minimum 10 years in supervisory management.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to travel within and out of the country at short notice.

Responsibilities:

• Direct all network planning, engineering and operations for the Company
• Ensure the network evolution/services/ products are designed, implemented, provisioned and operated to meet quality and revenue objectives
• Responsible for, directing network build out, capacity planning, service development and expansion to meet business requirements
• Maintain the network to achieve KPIs and cost effective business operations.
