New Vibrations is a consultancy agency within the IT and Telecommunications sectors delivering skilled resources to operators and vendors worldwide.

Our client is looking for Integration Validation and Maintenance engineers with at least 2 years OSS project experience in a telecomms environment.

Required Skills:

* Unix Solaris administration basics (shell scripts writing, create a cron table, usual cmds, software packages installations tasks, user & rights management, backup restore, disks management, ...)

* Unix / Ip / tcp net investigations = process monitoring, remote connections, ping, ftp, @ip resolution, DNS, DHCP

* Oracle Database basics admin: connection, table space extensions, user managment, view, SQL standards

* SNMP basic (being able to browse a MIb, know what an OID is, send or analyse a trap, perform get req)

* knows how to read html & XML, basic http notion

Beneficial skills:

• Proviso

• SUN clustering

• Cisco basic knowledge (IPSLA probe concept)

• Firewall basics (how it works, ip@ ports and protocol filtering)

• Perl scripting (read & understands a script)

• Web services (knows what a WSDL, able to understand client server exchanges & investigate in case it fails)

• Knowledge in Telecom or protocols (WIFI, WIMAx, trans, GSM, xDSL, ...)

• Knows what is a project testing and integration phase, a test book
